On Saturday 18 May 2013, Converse took over a disused section of the Port of Barcelona to create the first CONS SPACE, an initiative to transform disused urban space through skateboarding, art and music. Following on from spaces in Barcelona and Berlin, we present CONS Space 003 Paris. For a two week period in October, Converse took over three floors of an abandoned textile factory to create the second CONS Space with skaters, sculptors and live-in artists. The ground floor Skate Lab featured sculptures designed by Roberto Cuellar, who took textural design influence from the former use of the space. Cons rider Kevin Rodrigues collaborated with Ben Chadourne and Jean-Louis Huhta to bring you an audio visual representation of his skateboarding in Paris, France. Kevin sourced a range of his own musical influences and worked closely with Jean-louis to create the bespoke composition tailored to suit this film.
