Bara Epic Israel 2023 - Route Reveal

Some of the world’s best mountainbikers come together to compete in Israel in the midst of sand, forest and the Mediterranean Sea. The largest Israeli cycling event, the Bara Epic Israel, got it all and is about to start soon. Among them are for example the silver and bronze medalists of the German MTB Marathon Championship, Martin Frey (GER) and Simon Stiebjahn (GER). As well as Kim Le Court (MRI) and Vera Looser (NAM), who already won the Cape Epic and the Swiss Epic this season, which makes them the first to win both races in in the same year. In the Epic Israel, you have to compete together with your team-partner in a 4-day MTB stage race (prologue and 3 stages). It takes place on the coastline north to Tel Aviv and covers 300km in distance and almost 4.300m of climbing over 3 Stages from Wednesday 11th – Saturday 14th of October. Additionally, Bara Epic Israel offers a one-day marathon in 3 distances – short, medium and long.
