The GWA Wingfoil World Cup 2023 held its final wave event in Dakhla, Morocco. In front of the fantastic backdrop of the Sahara Desert, twenty-five men and five women from 9 nations around the world competed for the inaugural Wingfoil Wave World Championship title. The US’s Moona Whyte and Cape Verde’s Wesley Brito won the first-ever world titles in the Wave discipline. Nia Suardiaz made history by becoming the first woman in the competition to perform an Air 360 on a wave.
