The 2nd stage of the Mediterranean Epic 2023 was, with 80 kilometres and 2,150 metres of altitude, the second longest stage in the history of the race and probably the one that could be called the queen stage in terms of toughness.

Andreas Seewald started in the overall leader's jersey but could not repeat his performance from the day before.
