Balaram Stack is from New York, but he spend a few weeks here in California. He rips small waves, but really thrives when it's bigger and hollow. On this day, plenty of pros were out, but Balaram got the best ones.

Quiksilver USA team members Balaram Stack & Chase Wilson joined up with Tofino B.C's Raph Bruhwiler for a pretty solid three days of surf. Remote left hand point surf, big chunky tubes, some rights near Tofino, Killer whales. These guys got to see it all in a very short visit. Coming to surf in Tofino and not surfing beach break is a rare experiece not many get to experience unless they come and visit Raph. This was a trip to Costa Rice lesser traveled zone.
