We have our first ever GWA Super Foil Brazil Champion! Day 3 has been action packed here in Fortaleza. The wind was up and down and judges decided on heats of 9 minutes to compensate for the lulls, thankfully there was enough to run the competition. Today we had the final day of competition here at the GWA SuperFoil Brasil 2020. We ran a Best Trick/ Best Surf Super Session Competition for our WingFoil athletes, it was the first expression session the GWA have run in Brazil. After so many months without competitions it’s been so good to get an international group of athletes together and back on to the water, and what a spot we have chosen for it! Day two is complete at the GWA SuperFoil in Fortaleza. So far we have been blessed with great conditions for the competition, today we had light rain in the morning, which thankfully cleared in time for the event to begin. The weather made for a smooth run, enabling the team and athletes to get through two complete rounds of heats. The qualifiers for the GKA SuperFoil 2020 were run today in Fortaleza, Brazil. Day 1 of competitions started with heavy rain, which had cleared by midmorning, thankfully replaced by good wind and some moderate swell. Wind was averaging 15-20knots for most of the day.
